Rugby | Bulls' high-performance manager quits

Cape Town – The Bulls’ high-performance manager Xander Janse van Rensburg has resigned from his post.

According to Netwerk24, Janse van Rensburg’s resignation was sudden, with the Blue Bulls Rugby Union expected to release a statement in due course.

Janse van Rensburg had occupied the role since 2012 and was responsible for the Bulls’ talent identification and management of their professional teams and academy structures.

The University of Pretoria law graduate had previously worked as the union’s coordinator of schools and high-performance activities where he was involved in the scouting and recruiting of junior players.

The Bulls open their 2019 Super Rugby campaign against the Stormers in Pretoria on Saturday (17:15 kick-off).
