Karolina Pliskova fell to a 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 defeat
Enraged world #5 seed Karolina Pliskova smashed a hole in an umpire’s chair after a bad call sent her on the road to defeat at the Italian open.
Pliskova was prompted into a fury by a line call and reacted by hammering her racket into umpire Marta Mrozinska’s chair at the end of her 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 defeat to Maria Sakkari in the second round.
Kristyna Pliskova (Karolina’s twin sister) ripped into Mrozinska on Twitter: “The worst i have ever seen @wta and i hope this lady Marta Mrozinska will never ever judge any match of me or Karolina again #blacklistforever.”
