It’s back and just in time for the new Premier League season, which begins on 13 August with Brentford hosting Arsenal on Friday night
Not only that, we’ve seen some outrageous transfers happen too with Manchester United among those doing big business.
The Red Devils have finally signed Jadon Sancho after last summer’s botched attempt and on top of that £73million deal, they have also landed France superstar Raphael Varane from Real Madrid.
Aston Villa have made their intention to push for Europe clear having signed Emi Buendia from Norwich for £33m, although they could lose Jack Grealish, who is wanted by Man City.
Talking of being wanted by Pep Guardiola, Harry Kane is still at Spurs but could well quit before the end of the transfer window as he pushes for a transfer, but new boss Nuno Espirito Santo looks to be attending to their trouble some defence in the transfer window.
Liverpool have also looked at their defence with Ibrahima Konate joining for £36m, while they will welcome Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez back to full fitness in a huge boost to their title chances.
Having won the Champions League, you would imagine Chelsea will be in the hunt for the trophy too but they are yet to confirm a single transfer. This could soon change with Jules Kounde a target.
Don’t forget Arsenal’s new signing Ben White when you’re talking about defenders, he’s a top talent but can he help Mikel Arteta’s men break back into the top six.
Leicester City have done smart business rather than lots, snapping up Patson Daka and Boubakary Soumare as they attempt to crack the top four having missed on the final day of last term.
They join West Ham in the Europa League, but the Hammers are currently without Jesse Lingard, who returned to Man United when his loan spell ended, and face trying to juggle two games a week.
Promoted sides Watford, Brentford, and Norwich have been busy too but can they avoid going straight back to the Championship?
Leeds United will be hoping their 2020/21 season was no flash in the pan but given Kalvin Phillips’ Euro 2020 displays for England, we doubt it.
Meanwhile Newcastle, Southampton, Burnley, and Wolves are all hoping for progress after tough seasons.
