The striker’s contract with Ligue 2 side Nimes expires in the summer and he is reluctant to pen an extension.
Clubs in England have been alerted to the 22-year-old’s availability and have been impressed by his tally of six goals in 15 games this season.
According to L’Equipe, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Stoke and Sunderland have all enquired to Nimes regarding Koura’s situation.
The French side are aware that the striker is unlikely to sign a new deal and are now open to selling him in January – rather than losing him for free in the summer.
Nimes have placed a price tag of £1.2m on Koura’s head and it is now up to clubs to meet it.
