Chelsea threaten to pull plug on Jeremie Boga's loan deal with Rennes

Chelsea have told Rennes to start playing teen star Jeremie Boga.

The Blues loaned the midfielder to the French club in the summer in the hope he would get some first-team experience.

However, the 18-year-old has started just once all season, with his other opportunities coming from the bench.

According to L’Equipe, that has frustrated Chelsea and they have instructed Rennes to start playing Boga more.

It is reported that if the Frenchman’s playing time does not increase then Jose Mourinho could pull the plug on the loan deal.

Boga is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Chelsea’s academy and clubs in the Championship are said to be keen on snapping him up on a short-term basis.
