Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado to stay at Juventus with £16m fee agreed

Chelsea have agreed to sell Juan Cuadrado to Juventus for £16million, according to reports in Italy.

The Colombian winger is currently on loan at Juve after failing to make an impact at Stamford Bridge last season.

And now, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Cuadrado will join the Italian club on a permanent deal when the January transfer window opens.

Chelsea were keen to recoup at least half of the £27m they shelled out to Fiorentina last January, with Atletico Madrid also linked with a swoop, but it now appears a deal in principle has been agreed with Juve for the 27-year-old.

Cuadrado has enjoyed a more fruitful spell in Turin, making nine appearances in all competitions this term.
