Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is a candidate to replace Jose Mourinho – if the Chelsea boss leaves the club.
Mourinho is under fire at present as Chelsea lie 15th in the Premier League table and 14 points off top spot.
The Blues insist that the Portuguese manager’s job is not under threat but that has not stopped rumours circulating about potential successors.
And, according to Corriere della Sera, Mancini is being considered by Chelsea as a viable replacement for Mourinho.
The Italian won the Premier League title during his time with Manchester City and currently has Inter Milan second in Serie A.
Mancini, though, would reportedly only consider moving to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season and not during the current campaign.
