Only 12 months ago not many people had heard of League One midfielder Dele Alli, but now his is the name on the lips of all England fans.

The exciting 19-year-old midfielder marked his first start for England with a stunning 25-yard strike against France on Tuesday night.

Despite only making his Premier League debut for Tottenham this year, Alli is now likely to be on the plane to Euro 2016 next summer, with some even suggesting he will be starting for Roy Hodgson’s side.

Not only did he score a screamer during the match at Wembley, he also robbed Paul Pogba of the ball to spark the move that led to Wayne Rooney’s goal.
