WBA interim middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr (20-1, 15 KOs) halted overmatched American Tony Jeter (20-5-1, 14 KOs) in the second round on Saturday night at the Sheffield Arena in Sheffield.

The Brit fighter dropped Jeter with a left hook in the first round and as soon as the second had started he was on the attack again, unleashing more hard shots before referee Howard Foster intervened at 0:29 of the round.

Next, Eubank will fight Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan on December 12 in a final eliminator for a shot at the WBA title and face the winner of Peter Quillin-Daniel Jacobs.

Jacobs defends the WBA belt against fellow New Yorker Quillin on December 5.
