Former Arsenal midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup will not be leaving Besiktas in January, club president Fikret Orman has claimed amid links with a Gunners return as well as a move to Manchester United.
The Turkey international, who spent three years with the north London side between 2008-2011, has developed into one of Bestikas’ key players over the last few years and his performances have caught attention from clubs in the Premier League.
Orman refused to rule out a summer transfer if the right bid comes in but says the club are not interested in letting Ozyakup leave before the end of the season.
“He will not be leaving over the winter,” Orman told Fanatik. “There is no way we can let that happen.
“But, after Euro 2016 I do not know if we will be able to keep him.”
