Dubois is now 15-0 (14 KOs)

The unbeaten heavyweights previously sparred during their time on Team GB together.

Around this period, they both also shared the ring with Joshua.

Warren told the talkSPORT Breakfast: “Daniel sparred with AJ.

“In fact, that’s one of the reasons we made a beeline to sign him, he knocked him over in sparring.”

Warren has represented Dubois since his debut in 2017 and believes the 23-year-old is now ready to step up towards world level.

He explained: “At the moment Daniel’s number two in the WBO rankings. Number one is Oleksandr Usyk and obviously AJ’s the champion.

“So AJ after his fight with Kubrat Pulev, providing he comes through, he’s gotta make a decision.

“Is he gonna fight Tyson Fury, will he vacate the title to do that?

“If he does, then Usyk’s gotta fight the next available guy. The next available guy will be the winner of this fight.

“They’re not just fighting for these titles that we mentioned, they’re fighting for the right to fight for a world title next year.”
