Heavyweight Browne seeking legal advice amid doping reports (The Associated Press)

Heavyweight world champion Lucas Browne says he is seeking legal advice amid reports he failed a doping test around the time of his technical knockout win over Ruslan Chagaev for the WBA’s regular title in Grozny, Russia on March 5. ESPN on Tuesday reported Browne’s A-sample was positive to clenbuterol in a test conducted by the Las Vegas-based Voluntary Anti-Doping Association. ESPN said it obtained a copy of a letter written by VADA president Margaret Goodman to organizers of the fight advising of the positive result.
