'I haven't seen an individual performance like that since Ronaldo!' – Manchester United fans dazzled by Memphis

Memphis was deservedly named man-of-the-match

Thursday, February 25, 2016

Louis van Gaal would have been pleased with ‘horny’ Manchester United as they romped to a 5-1 victory over FC Midtjylland.

Teenager Marcus Rashford scored twice after Anthony Martial pulled out in the warm up as Ander Herrera, Memphis Depay and an own goal saw United through.

Despite local lad Rashford’s stunning debut, it was Memphis who was deservedly named man-of-the-match after he gave the visitors’ right-back Andre Romer a nightmare before the defender was eventually sent off at the end.

As well as his goal, summer signing Memphis also contributed two assists and looked to have turned a corner after publically admitting his time at Old Trafford had so far been a failure.

See below for the best reactions to the Dutchman’s dazzling display on social media, including a fantastic bit of skill!
