Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino

Jamie Redknapp believes Tottenham will become title favourites if they defeat Liverpool at Anfield this weekend.
Mauricio Pochettino takes his team to Merseyside on Saturday evening, hoping to close the gap between themselves and Leicester to just two points.
With the Foxes not playing until Sunday, a win for Spurs would increase the pressure on Claudio Ranieri’s men, and former Lilywhites midfielder Redknapp believes the North London club will become favourites for the title if they secure victory against the Reds.
Speaking to the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, Redknapp, who also starred for Liverpool, said: “If they go to Liverpool and win, I think they might just become favourites then, because that really puts the pressure on Leicester. If Liverpool were to beat them, it might just give Leicester a little bit of breathing space.”
With both teams set to play seven more games this season, it appears as if the title race is a straight fight between Leicester and Tottenham.
No one believed the Foxes would be challenging for the title heading into April, but Redknapp has also admitted that he struggled to see Spurs breaking into the top four when the campaign started.
“The job that Pochettino has done there is phenomenal, because I have to be honest, I didn’t have them in the equation this year,” the ex-midfielder added.
“I thought they would struggle to get into the top four.”
