John Terry set for Turkey move? Antalyaspor to swoop for out-of-contract Chelsea captain in the summer

Turkish club Antalyaspor are planning a move for Chelsea captain John Terry next summer.

Terry’s contract expires at the end of the season and Chelsea have stalled on offering the defender a new deal following a dip in his performances at the start of the campaign, which led to him being dropped by Jose Mourinho.

And now, according to Turkish media outlet AMK, Antalyaspor are readying a bumper deal for the 34-year-old.

Terry is currently considering his future at Stamford Bridge and could be tempted to join up with former team-mate Samuel Eto’o in Turkey.

However, Terry has also had offers from a number of MLS clubs, while Qatar side Al Arabi – managed by Gianfranco Zola – have also made contact with the defender.
