MANCHESTER UNITED’s interest in Leicester star Riyad Mahrez has been welcomed by Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri.
The Algerian has been one of Leicester’s star players for the past two seasons and United scouts watched the wonder winger in the club’s win at West Brom last week.
Reports claim United manager Louis van Gaal is planning a January bid for the creative goalscoring man of the moment.
But that does not worry his Italian counterpart Ranieri, who said: “It is normal and it is good he is being linked because it means he is playing well. It is not a concern.”
