Liverpool and Tottenham are set to miss out on the signing of Ezequiel Lavezzi with the player’s agent due to fly to Italy for talks with Juventus and Inter Milan.
The Argentina international is coming into the final six months of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain and is unlikely to pen an extension.
It means the 30-year-old will be available on a free in the summer and clubs across Europe are keen to snap him up.
Both Liverpool and Tottenham explored the possibility of signing Lavezzi last summer, while Arsenal were after the winger during his Napoli days.
However, according to reports in Italy, Premier League clubs are set to miss out as the Argentine’s agent flies to Italy for talks with Serie A sides.
Juventus and Inter both want Lavezzi and it will now be a straight fight between them to tie up a deal with the player.
