Manchester City fans reported for booing Champions League anthem – 'UEFA's North Korea moment'

Man City have been reported to UEFA following the booing of the Champions League anthem by fans.

It is understood the matter was reported by a match delegate watching City’s victory against Sevilla at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.

The club has now received notification from the European governing body over the issue and the case is set to be dealt with at the next meeting of UEFA’s disciplinary body on 19 November.

But many football fans think the whole thing is pretty ridiculous, as you can see from some of the tweets below.
