Manchester United striker James Wilson joins Brighton on loan for rest of the season

Manchester United youngster James Wilson has been allowed to join Brighton on loan.

The England striker has joined the Championship high flyers for the remainder of the 2015/16 season.

The 19-year-old has made just two first-team appearances this term; a start in the Capital One Cup defeat to Middlesbrough and a run-out from the bench in the 3-0 defeat at Arsenal last month.

Injuries have hampered his chances, while the impressive form of summer signing Anthony Martial has also limited his opportunities.

Brighton are the only unbeaten team remaining in England’s top four divisions and are level on points with Hull City at the Championship summit.
