Newcastle United and Swansea City monitoring Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini

Manolo Gabbiadini only joined the Italian club in January 2015

Newcastle United and Swansea City have been put on red alert by the news Napoli are ready to sell Manolo Gabbiadini.

The striker only joined the Italian club in January 2015 after they shelled out £10m to snap him up.

Since then, though, the 24-year-old has struggled for action as Gonzalo Higuain has kept him out of the team.

And now, according to TMW, Napoli are ready to cut their losses and sell Gabbiadini this summer.

That has alerted both the Mapgpies and the Jacks, who are expected to be on the hunt for attacking reinforcements at the end of the season.

Despite a lack of playing time, Napoli are still hoping to receive around £13m.
