It’s cliche to say that tennis is a sport in which “love” literally means nothing. With that out of the way, there’s every reason for ATP and WTA tour players to sound off about the treasured people in their lives. Here’s a sample of the best V-Day posts from the sport’s current crop of pros.

Lucie Safarova may have won Valentine’s Day with her fresh and timely racquet stenciling. She’s got us seeing red, in the best way:

But wait. Another Czech, Radek Stepanek, offered up an attention-grabbing slice of news just two days before this holiday, announcing on his Facebook page that he has reunited with ex-wife Nicole Vaidisova.

“Don’t be surprised” if you see us together, said Stepanek, now in the twilight of his length and accomplished career. Vaidisova herself is on the comeback trail at age 26 after leaving the sport for a few years. She and Stepanek married in 2010 and divorced three years later.

Meanwhile, Petra Kvitova, herself a former love of Stepanek, celebrated V-Day with close friend Lucia Hradecka and wafted a rose given to her by the WTA tournament in Dubai.

Genie Bouchard, Samantha Crawford and Andrea Petkovic had their fun with the holiday.

Turning his loving gaze on food, Dmitry Tursunov got artistic on Instagram with his valentine’s meal.

In support of all those romantics who are not able to eat chocolates for Valentine’s Day or can’t bear the sweetness of the Instagram today, I support you with this Frankenstein patty! Frankenstein, because it’s made out of whatever I could get my hands on in the kitchen. Give it a try and let me know how it goes. You can add the hashtag – #bellyismyvalentine Let’s go romantically viral today!!! Ingredients: (I didn’t measure anything so the amounts are pretty rough. Use your tastebuds and imagination.) 150g of ground beef, 1 egg, 2-3 large spoons of quinoa (cooked), handful of sunflower seeds (raw), 1/4 avocado, 1-2 spoons of olive oil Recipe: (I do everything by eye so don’t quote me on amounts. Play around with it.) Mix ground beef, egg, olive oil until it turns into one messy mass.  Add some quinoa and sunflower seeds until the mass becomes more solid and doesn’t fall apart.  You can add avocado into the mix or try to hide the slices inside the patty. (I hid mine inside to have a kinkier texture) Make patties into organ shapes. Experiment with the times on the stove but I kept it on the high heat to make the crust so the patty wouldn’t fall apart.  Enjoy and let me know how it goes!!!

Ever the romantic, Victoria Azarenka saluted the day at hand and her special man.

Fellow romantics Caroline Wozniacki, Yanina Wickmayer and Sabine Lisicki took to Twitter as well, and exhausted most every “love” emoji available in the process.

The great thinker Svetlana Kuznetsova got introspective on the holiday, showing off her fantastic tattoo and posting in Russian what translates to “Feel free to love sincerely and selflessly. Love rules the world! Happy Valentine’s Day!”

CoCo Vandeweghe herself may have been served roses.

Meanwhile, while not an overtly valentine-themed post, the Memphis Open gave four-time winner Kei Nishikori another reason to write a love song.

Perhaps Matt Ebden wins this Valentine’s Day after all. Now this is thoughtful:

Whether celebrating cherished friends, family or lovers, the Spin is going to make a line call right here: Everybody wins.
