Scotland duo David Denton and Jonny Gray ruled out of final Six Nations match against Ireland

David Denton in action for Scotland

Scotland will be without forwards David Denton and Jonny Gray for their final Six Nations match against Ireland.

Gray has been ruled out by the Scotland medical team after a scan showed the lock had suffered a partial tear to a pectoral muscle during Sunday’s win against France.

And Denton has returned to Bath for further treatment on the groin problem the back-row forward suffered ahead of Scotland’s previous victory in Italy.

Stand-off Finn Russell suffered concussion during Sunday’s win over France and his condition is being monitored ahead of Saturday’s clash in Dublin.
