SEE IT: Wozniacki wears nothing but body paint in SI Swimsuit Issue

Caroline Wozniacki has landed a spot in Sports Illustrated’s glamorous swimsuit issue for the second straight year. This time, she’s going thread-less, appearing solely in body paint.

You can see the sum of her photos at SI.com, and it says here that Nos. 7 and 9 are her best. The WTA tour star, formerly No. 1 among her colleagues, handled a taxing, 15-hour body-paint-meets-photo-session like a champ. The shots, which she describes in the behind-the-scenes video below, may or may not be safe for your workplace.

Yes, you saw that correctly: Wozniacki’s lengthy body-painting session started at 11 p.m. and, as of 2:30 a.m., she was with photographers.

“Coming into the shoot, I thought, ‘Oh, I can lay down and I can just sleep through most of it,’” Wozniacki said. “But it turned out that I was standing up for at least five or six hours in the beginning before I got to lay down. But it was all worth it and I’m really happy I did it … I feel totally naked, but when I look in the mirror, it’s the weirdest thing. I feel like I have plenty of clothes on. It’s kind of a surreal experience.”

Though she has an #SISwim streak going now, Wozniacki is hardly the first tennis player to appear in the annual issue’s pages. In the past decade, Maria Sharapova, Ana Ivanovic, Daniela Hantuchova, Maria Kirilenko, Tatiana Golovin, and even Rafael Nadal have appeared therein. Before that, Steffi Graf, Serena and Venus Williams, and Anna Kournikova all graced SI with their respective presences in the swim-centric publication.

So there’s a lot of precedent. Even so, this year and last, it’s Wozniacki’s swim season. Life’s a beach for her again, and everyone else is invited.
