Cape Town – The Hurricanes on Friday edged the Blues 23-19 in their Super Rugby clash at Eden Park in Auckland.

The men from Wellington were forced to defend their line with 14 men late in the game as the home side camped on their tryline.

But the ‘Canes managed to hold on for their first win of the season.
