The Phoenix Suns’ season … well … it did not start ideally.
Enter Steve Nash. No, not as a player, but as an inductee into the team’s Ring of Honor on Friday — and, for a night, as the wind beneath their feet.
STEVE. NASH. SOCKS.

That’s right, when they play the Portland Trail Blazers, the Suns will basically be wearing novelty socks a Steve Nash superfan might have worn circa 2007.
And that’s tremendous.
According to Suns.com, Phoenix will be the first team in NBA history to wear another player’s image during a game. Said Markieff Morris, via Suns equipment manager Jay Gaspar: “That is respect for Stevie.”
You’ve got to respect your franchise’s (possibly) best player of all time.
