Widnes Vikings dismissed struggling Huddersfield Giants with ease, winning 36-18 at the John Smith’s Stadium, to go top of the Super League table.
Tries from Chris Dean, Stefan Marsh and Charlie Runciman gave the visitors control inside the opening 20 minutes.
The Giants got off the mark with a Michael Lawrence try, only for Widnes to strike again through Macgraff Leuluai.
A second from Marsh and a Corey Thompson brace followed, while Larne Patrick and Jamie Foster scored for Huddersfield.
With three wins from four, Denis Betts’ Widnes went top on points difference thanks to their first win at Huddersfield since 1996.
The home side, meanwhile, have lost three from three and only points difference is keeping them above Leeds Rhinos at the foot of the table.
