Slimani has netted 24 times in 37 games
Tottenham have reignited their interest in Sporting Lisbon striker Islam Slimani.
The Algerian has been in fine form this season and has scored 24 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions.
Spurs tried to sign the 27-year-old during the January transfer window but Sporting rejected their approach.
However, according to Portuguese newspaper Record, Tottenham are ready to go back in for Slimani this summer.
The striker has a release-clause in his contract which means he can leave if someone forks out over £23m.
Atletico Madrid and Everton are also interested in Slimani, but as of yet no club has made a formal offer.
