When the Blues beat Manchester United to the signature of Pedro, it looked to be one of the deals of the summer. Unless, however, the Spaniard has a blistering second half of the season, he will be far from one of the best pieces of business before the start of Chelsea’s title-defence. The form of those around him at Stamford Bridge appears to have rubbed off on his own performances, and time will only tell if he made the wrong decision to leave the comfort of the Camp Nou.
