The Belgium v Italy friendly was paused momentarily on Friday night as the players paid tribute to the 39 fans who lost their lives at the Heysel disaster.
The King Baudouin Stadium – the rebuilt Heysel arena – rose to their feat in the 39th minute as supporters and players alike applauded the many Italians who perished in the tragedy.
