Video: Jonah Lomu v England at the 1995 Rugby World Cup – All Black's legendary four-try performance


Jonah Lomu has passed away at the age of just 40, but he will live on in the hearts of sports fans as one of the greatest athletes of his, or any, generation.

A rugby union winger who possessed supreme speed while standing 6ft 4in and weighing 18 stone 10 pounds, it was in 1995 that Lomu shot to global attention at the Rugby World Cup.

His performances helped New Zealand reach the final in South Africa, most notably with a four-try semi-final destruction of Five Nations Grand Slam champions England.
