Volvo confirms David Wall exit

GRM Volvo has confirmed that David Wall won’t be a full-time driver with the team in 2016.

The Garry Rogers-run squad issued a short statement today confirming that Wall will part ways with the team in terms of a full-time role next season.

“Wilson Security Racing GRM confirms that David Wall will not be driving on a full time basis with the team at the conclusion of the 2015 V8 Supercar season,” read the statement.

“David has decided to focus his time on his young family and the Wall Racing business.

“We are in discussions with David in regards to remaining with the team as an endurance driver for season 2016.

“We will make an announcement regarding our driver of the #34 car in due course.”

The news comes just over 24 hours after Nissan Motorsport announced that James Moffat will be on the move at the end of the season, with Moffat set to take Wall’s place in the #34 Volvo.
