WATCH: Leicester City star Shinji Okazaki nutmegs opponent before scoring for Japan in World Cup qualifier

The 29-year-old forward opened the scoring as Japan were 5-0 winners over Afghanistan

Shinji Okazaki has featured heavily for Leicester City this season and he has also been producing the goods for his country.

The 29-year-old forward opened the scoring as Japan were 5-0 winners over Afghanistan in World Cup qualifying.

Shortly before the break, Okazaki received the ball on the edge of the box and, in almost one touch, he drags the ball back before nutmegging his opponent. That allowed him the space to finish low past the goalkeeper shortly before the break.

If Lionel Messi scored this goal, the internet would go crazy – see below!

Okazaki, a summer signing from Mainz, has made 32 appearances for the Foxes this season, netting seven goals in their shock Premier League title charge.

Southampton’s Maya Yoshida was also on the score sheet.
