West Ham midfielder Mark Noble hails Manuel Lanzini's start to Upton Park career

West Ham captain Mark Noble knew Manuel Lanzini would be a hit for his side after watching him on YouTube.

Lanzini has been outstanding since moving to Upton Park on loan in the summer from Al Jazira.

The Argentine netted his third Premier League goal of the season against Everton on Saturday and fellow midfielder Noble says he always knew the 22-year-old would shine after scouting him online.

“Manuel is great. He’s learning English and he’s a lovely kid,” Noble told West Ham’s official website.

“He’s only 22 and he’s got a manager who believes in him and lets him go out and play.

“He’s a top player and I YouTubed him before he came here and saw that he had a lot of quality. He’s showing that in the games.”
