Zlatan Ibrahimovic looked like scoring a stunning free-kick until Schmeichel did this!

Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel produced a superb save while playing for his country this weekend.

The Denmark goalkeeper showed glimpses of Schmeichel senior’s playing days when he dived across goal to get a hand to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s free-kick in a Euro 2016 qualifying play off in Stockholm.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward, voted as his country’s footballer of the year for the past nine years, drove a 19-yard set piece that was rising across goal and into the top corner.

Ibrahimovic did bag a customary goal later in Saturday’s match, scoring a penalty, while also having another effort disallowed, leaving Sweden with a narrow 2-1 advantage going into the return leg in Copenhagen.
